Every year around this time, Salt Lake City’s Epic Brewing Company takes their best-selling whiskey barrel-aged Imperial Coffee Stout, and enhances it with unique flavors that turn each variant into something new.
The portfolio for 2025 is out now and ready for enjoyment (or not). You’ll ultimately be the judge, but here are my impressions of the “strong dirty half dozen.” Epic Brewing - Big Bad Baptist (Manhattan) - 13.1% ABV : This stout is an ode to its cocktail namesake.
