Glen Powell in "The Running Man" Paramount Pictures "Now You See Me: Now You Don't" Lionsgate Films "Nouvelle Vague" Netflix The Carpenter’s Son ** On one level, you kind of have to hand it to writer/director Lotfy Nathan for making the kind of movie that seems to be for absolutely nobody—specifically, a Jesus story that’s mostly a supernatural horror movie in which Jesus is a sullen, horny teenager.
I suppose it could be for those who are on board with whatever over-the-top vibe Nicolas Cage is putting down in any given role, as Nathan casts him as the conspicuously unnamed “carpenter”…
