Take the war on diversity, equity and inclusion, which has morphed into an attack on communist thinking. Earlier this year, the Utah Board of Education rejected a resolution to “comply” with President Donald Trump’s executive order to do away with DEI.
Of course, the state still has a law that bans DEI, possibly because of fear of losing federal funding.
