Innovations Early College High School, located on the campus of Salt Lake Community College, is facing potential closure by the Salt Lake City Board of Education. Google Maps Parents, students and community members filled the Salt Lake City Board of Education meeting on Tuesday night for a public hearing on the possible closure of Innovations Early College High School.
Many attendees urged the school board to reconsider, saying the decision to close the campus would disrupt students’ academic paths and dismantle a program unlike any other in the valley.
