We’ve all been there, haven't we? You’re idling peacefully at a traffic signal—mind calm, destiny assured—when you look up and see the one. No, not “The One” of romantic destiny—with magical expectations of an eternal love nest on a sister-star to Kolob—but the one driver who single-handedly proves that the rules of the road are, for some, merely suggestions, written in a language they find only vaguely familiar.

I speak, of course, of the Ignorant Left-Turner (ILT), whose misunderstanding of a simple traffic maneuver is a profound act of narcissistic public indifference.
