The tale of two estranged brothers—screenwriter Austin and itinerant thief Lee—meeting up after several years apart explores the idea of “real manhood” in a way that director Morag Shepherd still considers relevant.
“Even though it was written in the 1980s, I think we’re still dealing with these topics today,” Shepherd says.
