Mike Riedel Helper - New Zealand Pilsner Some beers are simply updates to an old recipe. This one feels more like a full-on reinvention. Helper Brewing has revisited a lager from a few years back, and transformed it into a New Zealand-style pilsner that really shines.

The first thing that jumps out of the glass is melon. It’s big, expressive and unmistakable, giving the beer a field fruit character that immediately sets it apart from the everyday pilsner. There’s also a subtle whiff of diesel lurking underneath the fruit, adding a little herb complexity without ever hijacking the show.
