Italian olives and pickled beets at Nomad Eatery Stefene Russell On a bright Sunday afternoon—98 degrees, to be precise—people ambled into the Ballpark at America First Square. It was a home game, the Salt Lake Bees facing off with the Reno Aces. It wasn’t a bad showing for an uncomfortably hot day, but then, the stadium’s barely a year old, and people love it: There’s dirty soda to drink, grass to sit on, mini-golf to play, a tiny trackless train to ride.
And though it has fewer seats than the old Smith’s Ballpark, the stadium itself is built to major league standards.
