Getting Greener Salt Lake City is concerned about the Great Salt Lake drying up and the exposed lakebed dust killing all of us with toxic chemicals. Our city is diligently trying to keep getting our town greener through a program called Climate Forward SLC. I recall when SLC set up the e2 business program in 2003, which sought to help local organizations reduce waste and adopt sustainable practices.
