This is no joke Wilson—someone is running over peacocks in Salt Lake City's Poplar Grove neighborhood. Local TV news has been all over the horrifying events. Here's a headline from KSL TV: “Salt Lake City police investigate deaths of peafowl, as residents push for charges.”
ABC4 posted a Ring doorbell video of a peacock getting run over by a black Toyota Tacoma. Not a pretty sight. The wild peacocks have been in the area since they were imported some 80 years ago. Denizens of Poplar Grove are fond of the birds and are really pissed off that four—so far—have been run over.
